I have searched the forums and not finding anything specific to this, so if I missed it please redirect me! I have a Casio Privia PX330 - have had for over three years, have been gigging with it for most of that time. Recently it has started a random spike on the E above middle C.

Research says it's called a 'velocity spike' and probably needs contacts cleaned. I'm willing to give it a shot myself, I'm a computer tech and it's like a big laptop to me. But I can't find any kind of service manual, schematic, or even 'how to take apart' youtube video, like I would normally find when taking apart a computer or tablet. Does anyone have links, pictures ANYTHING that might give me an idea where the contacts are, what they look like and what this piano looks like opened up? Usually google works for me but not this time.
Any help is appreciated! KC Island #2578030 - 03/05/14 05:20 PM Re: Casio PX330 velocity spike Grand Poobah of the Trebuchet 10k Club Registered: 10/26/03 Posts: 16303.
